Nestled off a side street in the hustle and bustle of the 2nd Street neighbourhood in Holetown, Barbados is a little place we call home. Housed in a traditional Barbadian “townhouse” hence our name themews, we offer a surrounding unlike no other and a dining experience in Barbados, which is sure to surpass even the most experienced diners. With a “not so typical” layout of a normal eatery, we boast a variety of quaint eating areas such as balconies, courtyards, private dining rooms, corridors and shall we say nooks and crannies to house all you wonderful people in.
It’s worth a visit if just to see the originality in Barbadian architecture and the preservation of this great piece of history.
Offering a carefully constructed menu of Euro-Caribbean cuisine, paired with classic understated simplicity and style, there is something to fit everyone’s needs and desires. Not to mention the cozy downstairs bar which transforms into a super cool after-dinner rendezvous and drinking spot. Both diners and anyone who just wants a fancy smanchy pants cocktail to relax and unwind with in “our living room” at the end of a long week at the beach or at the office are welcome.
With a new chef in tow, who adds an unexpected depth of flavour in everything he creates, it’s the one eating experience not to be missed out on here in Barbados.
Our chef has done a masterful job in putting his own spin on some classic dishes and coming up with exciting on trend eats that will be sure to become classics once you wonderful diners get your chops around them. Our staff are armed with an abundance of knowledge of food, wine and having a good time so there is no excuse for you not to feel like you’re in a home away from home catching up with old friends.

- Dinner is served Monday to Saturday (Sunday in the season) from 6:00pm.
- Live Entertainment is scheduled from time to time.
